Error (180,236) When Approving Name Change AWE Transaction (Doc ID 2294003.1)

Symptoms

AWE Name Change Approval throws the below error when attempting to approve a transaction:

The first operand of the dot operator is the NULL values, indicating the lack of any object value. As a consequence, the given method or property cannot be used.

Also, the following exceptions were found when tracing the transaction:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. After Name Change transaction has been submitted, sign in as Approver
2. Use the Push Notifications Flag icon to go to the Pending Name Change Transaction
3. Click Approve, and note that the above error is displayed
