E-DPK: HCM PUM Image 23 Virtual Box DPK Fails With "Unable to locate the bootstrap script psft-dpk-setup.sh under the DPK source directory..." (Doc ID 2299901.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.56 version, PeopleSoft Update Manager

PUM23 HCM unable to get image running in VirtualBox environment

While running HCM 9.2 PUM23 VirtualBox DPK on a Windows machine the following an error is received.


ERROR
-----------------------
Unable to locate the bootstrap script psft-dpk-setup.sh under the DPK source directory /opt/oracle/psft/dpk/

"Unable to locate the bootstrap script psft-dpk-setup.sh under the DPK source directory /opt/oracle/psft/dpk/. Ensure that the bootstrap DPK is downloaded and is available in the Shared Folder on the Windows Host."

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Downloaded all zip files
2. Extracted file 1 so it’s contents are extracted into the same directory.
3. Copy all the extracted files into the DPK_INSTALL directory.
4. Open Power Shell, running as administrator.
5. Run the script <DPK_INSTALL>\setup\psft-dpk-setup.bat
6. Selected option for “Bridged” network connection.
7. Use Static IP address
