POST_HIRE_REQUEST IB throws error when Year Acquired is greater than Year Last used in Applicant Competency detail.
There is no validation on the page to enter correct data i.e Year Acquired needs to be less than or equal to Year Last used.So when the candidate is hired, the POST_HIRE IB_REQUEST fails.
Year Acquired for Competency "XX" must be earlier than or equal to Year Last used (1040,25)
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Main Menu > Recruiting > Search applicants > Manage applicant.Select any Applicant.
2. Add Job to the applicant.Now click on Action->Recruitment Actions->Edit Application details.Click on Add competencies
3. Enter LAST YEAR USED -2013 and YEAR ACQUIRED-2016 (Year Acquired is greater than Year Last used).Save it.
4.Now click on Action->Recruitment Actions->Prepare Job offer.Accept the offer and Hire the applicant.
5.Go to Workforce administration->Personal Information->Manage Hire.Check for the Hired Applicant.
6.Go to PeopleTools->Integration Broker->Service Operations Monitor->Monitoring->Asynchronous Services.Go to Transaction ID Details Link.Status is Error.Click on the Error link.
