E-AWE: Percent % Variables Not Resolving In Approval Framework Email Notifications.

Symptoms

On : Approval Framework Workflow (AWE) Email Notification

Variables from Generic Templates are not resolving in AWE Email notifications, the % # are showing up instead of the data values populating.  The Configure Transaction Route for Approval includes the SQL Object Identifier. The SQLID is correct in Application Designer, and contains all the SELECT fields used in Generic Template are present.   The SQL when run outside of the system works and returns correct values.  The Trace is showing NULL for the SQLID;


Expectation is that the variables would be resolved and data populated in the AWE Email notification.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Submit Requisition.
2. Receive Email notification
3. Observe that only the %1 for URL is populated, none of the other variables are populated.
