E-PTF Client Cannot Playback Recorded Scripts With Windows Display Language Japanese. (Doc ID 2307901.1)

Symptoms


PROBLEM STATEMENT:

PTF client cannot play back anything ( even logging into PIA ) if Windows Display Language is Japanese, and the bellow error message is received:

ERROR
-----------------------
" Fatal Error trying synchronization, there is not possible to access to the hooked browser. "

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to "Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Language > Advanced settings"
2. Set "Japanese" as "Override for Windows display language".
  # Windows-logoff required.
3. Execute recorded test
4. The above error message is received
