Classic Ad Hoc Salary Change Workflow Email Contains URL Pointing to the Fluid Approval Component (Doc ID 2320679.1)

Last updated on APRIL 04, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM eCompensation Manager Desktop - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When submitting an Ad Hoc Salary Change using the Classic Ad Hoc Salary Change transaction (HR_SALCHANGE) without AWE, the URL included in the email being sent to the manager is pointing to the Fluid version (EOAWMA_MAIN_FL) which leads to the following error:

You are not authorized to access this component. (40,20)
You have not been granted security authorization for the component you are attempting to access. You may have access to the designated component and page, but not in the specified action mode (such as Correction or Update/Display). Contact your system administrator.

The URL in the email notification should point to the Classic component, as done with the notifications sent to the Requester and Administrator.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Manager Self Service > Compensation and Stock > Request Ad Hoc Salary Change, and submit transaction
2. As Approver, click URL in email notification received 3. Note the above error is received
4. If Approver navigates to Main Menu > Manager Self Service > Compensation and Stock > Approve Ad Hoc Salary Change, they are routed to the correct page and can approve transaction
