E-DB2 : Remote Database Connection Fails When Connecting To DB2 z/OS Database

On : 8.55 version, Database-DB2

When trying to test Remote Database Connection on PeopleTools 8.55.17 receive the error as follows:


GetConnection failed: java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found for jdbc:db2:PSHRDMO

Caught exception from DriverManager.getConnection()
One or more values from data source 'XXDMO' could be incorrect or some other JDBC driver error occurred.
URL: 'jdbc:db2:XXDMO'
DbName: 'XXDMO'
DbType: '1' (DB2)
ServerName: 'xx.xxx.xxxx'
InformixServer: ''
Port: '6789'


GetConnection failed: com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.DisconnectNonTransientConnectionException:jcc][t4][2057][11264][3.69.49] The application server rejected establishment of the connection. An attempt was made to access a database, XXDMO, which was either not found or does 
not support transactions. ERRORCODE=-4499, SQLSTATE=08004


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Upgrade PeopleTools from 8.52 to 8.55
2. Login to the PIA and access the Remote Database connection for the upgraded database
3. Observe the error reported
