Symptoms

On : 9.2 version, AR Update - Posting

When attempting to run ARUPDATE,
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
SQL error. Stmt #: 1723 Error Position: 0 Return: 8601 - [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Executing SQL directly; no c ursor. [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'CASE'.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Please ensure your People soft database is on Microsoft SQL server
2. Create a pending item/maintenance worksheet
3. Run ARUPDATE
