Error (180,236) when Creating Requisition Change Order

Symptoms

Buyer creates a requisition order and approve it. Then creates a change order for this requisition and receive (180,236) peoplecode error.

The first operand of the dot operator is the NULL value, indicating the lack of any object value. As a consequence, the given method or property cannot be used.

Steps

1) Navigate to Set Up Financials/Supply Chain, Business Unit Related,
Purchasing, Purchasing Definition
2) On the Purchasing Definition page, search for Business Unit = US001
3) Go to the tab ‘Req Change Options’ and set ‘Change Track Option’ to 'A’ and ‘Change Template’ to 'STANDARD’
4) Press Save.
5) Navigate to Purchasing, Requisitions, Add/Update Requisitions
6) Search for Business Unit = 'US001’ and Requisition ID = '0000000161’
7) Click on ‘Schedule’ link on the Line Details
8) This will take you to the Schedule page. On this page, press the ‘Create Schedule Change’ link (looks like a Triangle.)
9) At this point you will receive the following error: (180,236)
