Buyer Workcenter Dashboard Pagelets Do Not Reflect The Personalized Pagelet Set Up

Symptoms
On a Buyer workcenter dashboard, the pagelets that are set up are not reflected correctly on the right hand side of the workcenter page.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Navigate to the buyer workcenter
2. You would see the pagelets on the right hand side of the page if any were selected originally.
3. Click on the personalize content and change the pagelet
4. Click save and verify if that pagelet shows up on the right hand side panel.
The pagelet that shows up is not whats the personalize content is set up to display.
