Last updated on JANUARY 05, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.56 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Use this procedure with the Native OS DPKs for Linux/AIX/Solaris. This procedure describes how to produce an encrypted version of a clear text password and include it in the psft_customizations.yaml file for a customized deployment for non-default users and groups. This procedure assumes that you have carried out the first portion of a customized deployment, and stopped at the question “Do you want to continue with the default initialization?”
See PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.56 Deployment Packages Installation for information on using psft_customizations.yaml.
