Table Validation Report Fails With Error 'SQL0180N The syntax of the string representation of a datetime value is incorrect.'

Information in this document applies to any platform.


Table Validation Report run in Update Mode on a db2/Linux or Unix environment will fail for some students.

Running Table Validation in Report mode for these same students will finish successfully.


SFTBLVAL.SQR, insert-item-due-dt, Insert, PS_ITEM_DUE_SF
SQL Status =  -180, SQL Error  = SQL0180N  The syntax of the string representation of a datetime value is
incorrect.  SQLSTATE=22007

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
On the specified platform, perform the following steps:
1.  Navigate to Student Financials, Charges and Payments, Validate Tables;
2.  Select a run control;
3.  Populate the run control as follows:
Select Option = Individual Only
Run Option = Update
Enter the Student Financials Business Unit
Check All Boxes ON in the 'Detail Options' Group Box
Check All Boxes ON in the Item Details Group Box
Click Commit At End in the Commit Options group box
