Symptoms

Fatal SQL Error in Supplier Portal when Searching for Purchase Orders

When in the supplier portal and searching for existing Purchase orders using fields other than the date fields, a fatal SQL error occurs.

ERROR

"SQL error in Exec. (2,280) WV.BufferChunking.BaseClass.OnExecute Name:GetTotalRow PCPC:4735 Statement:120
Called from:PO_SSREVINV_WRK.SEARCH_BUTTON.FieldChange Name:SELECT_POS Statement:345
CaLled from:PO_SSREVINV_WRK.SEARCH_BUTTON.FieldChange Statement 572
During the execution of SQL, an error occurred in the Exec subroutine. The preceding message should have described the SQL being executed."



STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into Supplier Portal
2. Navigate to Manage Orders > Purchase Orders
3. Clear the date fields. Enter a Supplier Item ID as the only filter criteria
4. Click Search
5. Receive Errror: "A fatal PeopleCode SQL error occurred. Please consult your system log for details."
click ok
Message:
