Last updated on MARCH 09, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Spain - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

For a daily employee with contract end date on July the 30th, and begins a new contract on July the 31th, in the first segment (1-30), employee reach upper ceiling allowed for Social Security contribution (3751,2) for Professional Contingences (601 cret@ code)
In the second segment, it doesn´t calculate SS contribution for Professional Contingences
When is generated XML cret@ file and send it to SS through Siltr@ an error is retrieved:

"R9582 - Datos solicitados obligatorios no informados" for 601 cret@ code and slice 31/07/2017 - 31/07/2017

Response from Social Security for this issue:
For daily employees in 31 days months with segmentation on day 31st, we should prorate the monthly ceiling instead of using the daily ceiling, ensuring that we do report bases for all the slices.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Use a daily employee (empl ctg between 8-11) with two contracts:
-First begins on July the 1st and ends 30th
-Second begins on July the 31th and it doesn´t end
2. Give him a big amount of salary in order to get upper ceiling contribution.
3. Calculate July calendar
4. Check if SS contribution has been calculated for second segment
