EAP: Data Export Import Utility Map Filter Criteria Error

(Doc ID 2352501.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 24, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Cash Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a Data Export Import Utility Map is initially created and later on filter criteria is updated, the order of the filter criteria is incorrect during execution. An OR criteria that was added inside parenthesis is executed independently as appended to the originally saved criteria. This results in unexpected updates.The data in PS_FS_MAP_FILT_TBL shows the FS_MAP_SEQ is numbered correctly but the QRYCOLUMN is not renumbered.

For example:
Initial Filter Criteria

BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.BNK_ID_NBR = :1
AND BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.BANK_ACCOUNT_NUM = :2
AND BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_CYCLE_NBR = :3
AND (BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE '1234%'
OR BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE '2%' )

Following condition added within the parenthesis

OR BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE '15%'
OR BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE 'TEST%'

Final Filter Criteria

BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.BNK_ID_NBR = :1
AND BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.BANK_ACCOUNT_NUM = :2
AND BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_CYCLE_NBR = :3
AND (BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE '1234%'
OR BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE '15%'
OR BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE 'TEST%'
OR BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE '2%' )

The SQL is execute with following Criteria

BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.BNK_ID_NBR = :1
AND BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.BANK_ACCOUNT_NUM = :2
AND BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_CYCLE_NBR = :3
AND (BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE '1234%'
OR BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE '2%' )
OR BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE '15%'
OR BNK_STMT_PRSE_V.RECON_REF_ID LIKE 'TEST%'

Replication:
1. Open an existing Mapping that has Group Criteria with in its filter or Create a new MAP with Group Criteria and save it.
2. To the existing Group Criteria add additional filter criteria within the parenthesis.
4. Run the Data Export Import Request process
3. Query PS_FS_MAP_FILT_TBL for the MAp Id that was modified.
The data in PS_FS_MAP_FILT_TBL shows the FS_MAP_SEQ is numbered correctly but the QRYCOLUMN is not renumbered
