E-BIP/XMLP: RTF Output Downloaded With IE11 Opens With PIA Login Screen In MS Office 2016 (Doc ID 2367890.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run BI Publisher reports to RTF output format, the sign-on page occurs requesting the login credentials.

Also the following error occurs:

Error
-------
"An error has occurred
You may attempt to sign in again.
If your attempt fails, please contact your System Administrator."

This is not an issue when using Mozilla or Chrome browsers.


Steps
--------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to PIA
2. Navigate to Reporting Tools > BI Publisher > Report Definition > Query Report Viewer
3. Run BI Publisher with RTF output
4. The sign-on page is prompted-out requiring the login credentials
