E-SEC: External (Third Party) Single Signon no Longer Working After Upgrade to PT 8.55.21 and PT 8.56.06

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Third party single signon has been working on all versions prior to PT 8.55.21 and PT 8.56.06, and after applying these patches, the external SSO authentication no longer works. The session, that contains the user credentials, is getting blanked out when it should not be. This causes the user authentication to fail.
