EAR 9.2: Sales Person Field Always Displays Blank At The Customer Credit Profile Page (CUST_CREDIT_PROF)

(Doc ID 2373875.1)

Last updated on MARCH 14, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Receivables - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ISSUE:

The Sales Person field (SALES_PERSON) is not displaying the expected value at the Customer Credit Profile page (CUST_CREDIT_PROF), due to what may be a wrong coding of delivered SQL View PS_CUST_BU_VW_AR.

     SELECT BUSINESS_UNIT, CUST_ID, SALES_PERSON FROM PS_CUST_BU_VW_AR WHERE BUSINESS_UNIT=:1 AND CUST_ID=:2 ORDER BY BUSINESS_UNIT, CUST_ID

Even though the system is bringing the 2 bind variables expected (BUSINESS_UNIT, and CUST_ID), and when running the same SQL View in SQL Developer, it brings the expected results, the codeline behind the page is not ensuring the value gets displayed.

REPLICATION STEPS:

1.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as User ID VP1
2.- Navigate to: Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Team Members > Team Member Types
3.- Check that Team Member Code SALES exists, and is properly defined
4.- Navigate to: Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Team Members > Team Member Personal Data
5.- Open existing Team Member 002, and confirm it is linked to Employee ID IXHEEE102, and Member Type SALES, as well as flagged as a 'Sales Person'
6.- Navigate to: Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Team Members > Support Team Members
7.- Open existing Team Member Code A1, and ensure to list and flag Team Member 002 as its Manager, with Priority 001
8.- Navigate to: Customers > Customer Information > General Information
9.- Open existing Customer ID 1001, under Set ID SHARE
10.- At the General Info tab, scroll down to the Support Teams section, and select Team Code A1, and flag is as default
11.- Navigate to: Accounts Receivable > Customer Accounts > Customer Information > Credit Profile
12.- At the Customer Credit Profile page (CUST_CREDIT_PROF), define the below listed values:
               - Set ID = SHARE
               - Business Unit = US001
               - Customer ID = 1001
     13.- Click on SEARCH button
14.- At the Credit Information section, confirm that the Sales Person field is not displaying anything

To gather more information concerning this scenario and its related problem, refer to the available Replication Steps Word Document here linked containing the complete configuration and the replication steps necessary to reproduce the issue.

ACTUAL RESULTS:

The Sales Person feature at the Customer Credit Profile page (CUST_CREDIT_PROF) is not displaying anything, which confuses the Functional Users, as Support Teams are required at the Customer set up level.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

The Sales Person field should display the default Team Member flagged as Manager from the Customer’s defined Support Team Member.
