Consolidated Statistics Process Excluding Double the Number of Withdrawn Units (Doc ID 2374330.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 23, 2019

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Student Records - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 9.2 version, Student Records Consolidated Statistics

Consolidated statistics is incorrectly calculating PS_STDNT_CONS_STAT.UNT_TAKEN_PRGRSS when a student has units that are in withdrawn status (grade of W). The process is subtracting the units for the course with the W grade from the in progress units but the units are not initially counted in UNT_TAKEN_PRGRSS.

Expect that in progress units will be reported correctly.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Records and Enrollment > Enrollment Reporting > Consolidated Statistics > Process Consolidated Statistics.
2. Run SRPCCONA.cbl followed by SRPCCONP.cbl.
3. View the calculated value for PS_STDNT_CONS_STAT.UNT_TAKEN_PRGRSS for a student who has W grades for the term and it is incorrect.
