Incorrect Balance In View Customer Account

Symptoms
On production Campus Solutions, an incorrect amount is shown in the account balance area of "View Customer Account" page. The account shows zero for the items but the balance shows a negative value.
View Customer Account main inquiry page shows a zero balance for the account number and term. Drilling down on the account number details, a credit balance of -164.43 is shown.
The account detail amounts should equal the total amount for the account number/term on the View Customer Account Inquiry.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Navigate to Student Financials, View Customer Accounts;
- Select an emplid;
- Select the account number in question and click the Account Details hyperlink;
- Note the overall account balance is not a zero amount.
