EAP: AP_EMAIL_ADV Slow Performance

We have recently switched over to run the AP_EMAIL_ADV process for our ACH paycyle processing.  Once a month we have large volumes in the paycycle and the process for AP_EMAIL_ADV takes, in our opinion, too long.  It seems to take a long time at step AP_EMAIL_ADV.PopuTAO.Step08 -  
Performance issue on the email payment advice process and it is frustrating for the user.
