Grade Roster Does Not Open If Student LAST_NAME_SRCH Value Is NULL OR DOT (Doc ID 2380054.1)

Symptoms

On : 9.2 version, Campus Self Service

When last name of a student is not there then user put a '.' (DOT) in it to save the application because last name is required field and information need to be enter prior to save. When user put dot(.) in the last name, PeopleSoft saves a blank in LAST_NAME_SRCH.

ERROR

Our records indicate that there is no Grade Roster for this class. Please contact the Registrar.



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login as Faculty
2. Main Menu > Self Service > Faculty Center > Grade Roster
3. Select Class
