Slow Performance when using Position Number Lookup to Create a New Job Opening

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When creating a new job opening, recruiters are experiencing long wait times when using the Position Number Lookup.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Recruiting > Create Job Opening
2. Enter the Business Unit and Job Family
3. Select the 'Look Up' button for the position number field
4. Note it takes about 10-15 to display values depending on the Business Unit and Job Family selected
