EGL9.2: Tab Sequencing (Accessibility) And 508 Compliance Issue On General Ledger, Commitment Control and Common Financials Components Pages When Screenreader Mode Is On (Doc ID 2385806.1)

Symptoms


Tabbing sequence on below GL & common Financials components pages are not suitable as per the Accessibility Policy & 508 compliance standards to ensure usability by persons with disabilities. 

Installation Options
General ledger - User Preferences
Budget Attribute page
Journal inquiry page

SJE type in Journal header page
Label related issues in Mark journals for override page
No headers for a column that shows a prompt after speedtype

 

The issue  may be replicated by following below steps:


1. Log in as admin & navigate to PeopelTools > Personalization > Personalization Options & search for PPTL
2. In the Define Personalizations page, select the Format tab.
3. Select the ‘Set Option Default Value’ hyperlink for the ‘Access’ user option. Select the Option Default Value as ‘Screen Reader Mode on’. Click Ok
4. Test tabbing sequence on each of the pages listed above
