TAM: Languages Used For E-mail Notifications

Information in this document applies to any platform.
The e-mails that are sent out to recruiters, applicants, routees, etc. during the selection process of applicants use different sources to retrieve the e-mail address of the receivers.
Three sources are used to retrieve the e-mail address:
1. Person Details,
2. Applicant Details and
3. User ID.
For some actions (e.g. Interview scheduling, Routing Response, Evaluator assignment) the system sends the e-mails to the address of the Person Details.
For other actions (e.g., applications via ESS or backoffice) the e-mails are sent to the address of the Applicant Details.
For still other actions (e.g., job opening submitted for approval, job opening approved/denied, etc.), the e-mails are sent to the address indicated in the user ID.
1. What is the rationale of so much different sources for the e-mail address and language of the e-mail for one module?
2. Why are so much different sources used, and why are person details used as source instead of the user ID for some actions?
