SQR PER016 Counts Are Incorrect Due To Counting Terminated Employees (Doc ID 2391296.1)

SQR PER016 - Running this report the customer discovered that terminated employees are being pulled into the output due to Effdt vs. Last Date Worked.



Terminated employees are being counted in the output due to EFFDT regardless of time frame specified.




Terminated employees shouldn't be counted in the output unless the EFFDT is within the time frame specified.




The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Run PER016

2. Note the output.

3. Check a Terminated Employee that has an EFFDT at the start of the date range specified in the PER016 run, and note that the Last Day Worked is the day before.

4. Change the date range in the PER016 report run to go out one day ahead of the terminated employee

5. Note that the output numbers are now correct and not counting that employee.




The issue has the following business impact:

Due to this issue, customers can't verify properly the data in the PER016 report.
