E-MAP: MAP File Synchronization error

Symptoms
On : 8.56 version, Mobile Application Platform
When attempting to manual sync MAP File Synchronization
the following error occurs.
ERROR
-----------------------
"Failed to synchronize to the web server. Please check IB gateway definition and log files. (158, 20604)
Please look at the Application Server log and Gateway logs for additional error details. Moreover, verify that the gateway URLs are valid by performing a Ping of each URL9s). Navigate to Peopletool/Integration Broker/Configuration/Gateways. Select the inbound Gateway link and select the ping button for each row displayed. verify Ping is successful for each."
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. PeopleTools > Mobile Application Platform >MAP WorkCenter > MAP File Synchronization
2. Click on ‘View gateway Files' gives error:
URL : ERROR: Integration Gateway - General Error(158,10201). (2,1152) PSDOCLOWRK.IB_SHOW_Gw_FILES.FieldChange PCPC:499 Statement:6
3. Click OK
Click on ‘Synch’ button under Manual Sync
