Correct Search Results Are Not Being Returned After Using Clear Button In Lookup Search Criteria

Correct Search Results Are Not Being Returned After Using Clear Button in Lookup Search Criteria
Issue identified while utilizing the Lookup Search Criteria for Degrees, Language Skills, Licenses and Certifications, Honors and Awards, Memberships etc during the Application process when the user clicks on the Clear button in the Search Criteria section of the Lookup page.
If the user clicks on the Clear button after entering their initial search criteria and searching, the previous Search Results are cleared and this section is blank.
Workaround: If the user clicks the Search button again without entering any Search Criteria, the entire results set will be displayed in the Search Results Section.
Expectation is that the entire results set would be displayed as it was when the user first enters the Lookup page prior to the user entering any search criteria and Lookup search criteria should display relevant results instead of entire result set.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Main Menu -> Careers -> Apply for Job -> on the Qualifications-Accomplishments tab , add a Language (experiencing the same behavior for Degrees, Licenses and Certifications, Honors and Awards, Memberships, etc)
2. Click on the magnifying glass lookup icon on the Language field. The Lookup window appears. Click to expand/open the Search Criteria Section.
3. Enter “French” in the Search Criteria Description field and click the Search button and expected results returns
4.Next click the Clear button in the Search Criteria Section. The Search Criteria are cleared (this is as expected) and in turn no Search Results are displayed (this is not as expected) and when typing in a new Description value to search by, either immediately after clicking on the Clear button or after clicking on the Clear Button and then clicking on the Search button again, the new Search Criteria is not retained and the entire results set is returned
