Symptoms

On : 8.56 version, Change Assistant

Can't update CA using SetupPTClient.bat -t

Installing the PeopleTools Client PS_HOME and Change Assistant encountered a permissions error when installing the Client PS_HOME to a custom location.


ERROR

Deploying PeopleTools 8.56.06 Client in E:\psoft\psapp\PT85606

Configuring PeopleTools 8.56.06 Client
Access is denied.




STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run SetupPTClient.bat -t as admin.
2. Choose Y to set up the Client.
3. Specified PS_HOME on Drive E:.
4. Only chose to install Change Assistant.
5. Choose default location for Change Assistant.
6. Proceed through install & failure occurs.
