E-BI/XMLP: Spacing Between Letters When Editing Template In 2013 Or Later (Doc ID 2400200.1)

Symptoms

When editing a template using the BI Publisher Template Builder plug-in with Microsoft Word 2013 or later, strange formatting issues are occuring.

Letters in text are being spaced out dramatically and causes the output file to not appear as intended.  The same template does not show this behavior in Word 2010 or earlier.

This has been observed occurring with the delivered AP check templates.
