Symptoms

Supplier User Login Issues: Cannot Login Using New User After Approved

After apply PI 24 and PI 26 in a current PI 23. During UAT testing customer found the issue in Supplier User registration process.

Once the supplier user Id is approved, when try to login as user supplier, they are not able to login. Getting the message:

"Your UserId and/or Password are incorrect. Please try again"

 

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Setup:
1. Supplier Request System Setup. System generated password checked.
2. Supplier Request Template for USER. ID Number Verification: "Tax Identification Number'
3. Approval Process Setup for SUP_OB_USER: Approver User List = 'Supervisor by UserId'
4. Check the Supplier id TIN.
5. Workflow for VP1 Workflow tab: Supervising User id: VP2

Replication Steps:
1. Log into the SUPPLIER portal as VP1
2. Click ‘Create New User Accounts’ link in the Supplier Login pagelet
3. Enter user information
4. Submit for approval
5. Login as the Approver (VP2) and find the new Worklist entry
6. Approve User Account
7. Look up User Profile. Profile created.
8. Email received. Use the link to login.
9. Login using the New User created.
10. Got the message: ‘Your UserId and/or Password are incorrect. Please try again’
11. Logout/Login in the page. Not able to login. Getting the message: ‘Authorization Error – Contact your Security Administrator’
