E-ES/QRY/PORTAL: ES Not Returning Results For Custom Search Definition Linked To Component

Symptoms

Replication Steps:
---------------------------
1) created a simple connected query ACTION_REASON_TBL
2) created a search definition ACTION_REASON_TBL and linked it to a component (with component mapping and with security)
3) created a search category ACTION_REASON_TBL
4) deployed ACTION_REASON_TBL successfully
5) schedule index and created the index.
When navigating to Search Instance and Elastic Search interact,
6) Choose: Method: Get/Service type: Search

One does not get  the search documents back

 

And The Search Test Page (blank search)  shows: "Documents 1 through  of "

One creates the query based on the Chapter 4, Section
1) "Defining Search Definition Queries with PeopleSoft Query"
One creates the search definition based on Chapter 5:
2) "Creating Query and Connected Query Search Definitions > Creating Search Definitions"
and "Mapping Components to Search Definitions"
3) One creates the search category based on chapter
"Creating Search Categories"
4) Deployed was based on Chapter 9, Section
"Administering Search Definitions and Search Categories"
5) Built the index was based on Chapter 9, Section
"Working with Search Indexes"

for the Search Definition  with security and with component mapping
