E-UPG: Application Designer Crash With Error "Illegal uncommitted SQL cursor detected" When Partitioning Records In PT 8.56 (Doc ID 2406802.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.56 version, Application Designer

PeopleSoft App Designer crashed when select 'Tools > Data Administration > Partitioning' in PT 8.56

ERROR
-----------------------
Illegal uncommitted SQL cursor detected. Close down all windows and reboot. (22,3)


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Navigate to PeopleTools > Utilities > Partitioning Utilities
2) Select the Record GP_PYE_STAT_WRK
3) Enter the Table Partitioning Attributes, click <Generate Partitioning DDL> button and <Save DDL> button
4) Login to App Designer, open record GP_PYE_STAT_WRK
5) Select Tools > Data Administration > Partitioning. Error message appear.
6) Click <OK> on the error message, The Maintain Partitioning DDL windows is launched
7) Select the [Apply Partitioning] checkbox
8) Click <Save> button or Click <OK> button, the App Designer will be crashed /closed suddenly
