EEX 9.2: Delivered Record Views PS_EX_DE2_SRCH_VW, And PS_EX_DEL_SHT_VW, Contain Within SQL Statement, PeopleCode Incorrect Action Name Value WRD, While It Should Be WDR Instead (Doc ID 2409914.1)

Last updated on APRIL 10, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Expenses - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

A codeline inconsistency has been detected on the delivered PeopleCode from the below 2 SQL Views in Expenses module:

     - PS_EX_DE2_SRCH_VW (Expense Search)
     - PS_EX_DEL_SHT_VW (Delete Expense Report)

Within the criteria defined in the SQL Statement of these 2 Tables, there is the below identified condition:

However, delivered Field ACTION_NAME does not have a Translate Value of WRD.

1.- Log into an Application Designer of an FSCM 9.2 Image #26 environment
2.- Open delivered Record PS_EX_DEL_SHT_VW (Delete Expense Report)
3.- Go to the codeline within this SQL View, and confirm that one of the criteria is as below indicated:
               AND ACTION_NAME IN ('SBR', 'WRD')
4.- Open delivered Record PS_EX_DE2_SRCH_VW (Expense Search)
5.- Go to the codeline within this SQL View, and confirm that one of the criteria is as below indicated:
               AND ACTION_NAME IN ('SBR', 'WRD')
     6.- Open delivered Field ACTION_NAME
7.- Check the list of Translation Values delivered, and confirm WRD is not one of them

To gather more information concerning this scenario and its related problem, refer to the available Replication Steps Word Document here linked containing the complete configuration and the replication steps necessary to reproduce the issue.

Should Expense Reports be submitted, but later withdrawn from approvals by the Employees, such transactions would not qualify on the Search or Delete pages where the affected Records are being used.

The delivered codeline from SQL Views EX_DE2_SRCH_VW, and EX_DEL_SHT_VW should instead make reference to Field ACTION_NAME delivered value 'WDR' (Withdrawn).
