Last updated on JUNE 12, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Expenses - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

At the Fluid Approvals level, Users are unable to review the Accounting Details of the Expense Lines from submitted Expense Reports. Upon clicking on the 'View Accounting' button, the system throws an Error Message.

This seems to take place when the Project Costing module is not selected at the Installed Products set up page.

1.- Ensure that at the Installed Products set up page, the following modules are not selected:
          - Project Costing
          - Program Management
          - Grants
          - Maintenance Management
          - Proposal Management
2.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as an Expenses User
3.- Create a new Expense Report transaction, and submit it for approvals
4.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as an Approver user
5.- Go to the Fluid Homepage, and open the Fluid Approvals tile
6.- Select the submitted Expense Report
7.- Click on the Expense Line
8.- Click on the View Accounting button
9.- The system throws an Error Message

To gather more information concerning this scenario and its related problem, refer to the available Replication Steps Word Document here linked containing the complete configuration and the replication steps necessary to reproduce the issue.

       Data Integrity Error.
The data structure from the page does not match the data structure in the database. This can be caused by a change in the record definition while you were viewing the page. This is a non-recoverable error and the current transaction will be aborted. "

Submitted Expense Reports cannot be reviewed, and approved for payment, hence delaying the reimbursement on pending expenses.

The Approver User should be able to review the ChartField Accounting Details of the Expense Report Line selected, with no Error Message being triggered, when performing approvals via Fluid User Interface.
