E-CLOUD: When Using the Lift Utility from Cloud Manager 6 for OCI the Lift Operation Fails with "ORA-01034: ORACLE not available" (Doc ID 2428287.1)

Symptoms

On : 06 version, Lift Utility

When attempting to lift an Oracle 12c database using the Lift utility from Cloud manager Image 6 for OCI, the process fails with following error

ERROR

2018-07-12T15:25:24PDT appdb_utils.py DEBUG : SQL script output:
ERROR:
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
Process ID: 0
Session ID: 0 Serial number: 0

SP2-1545: This feature requires Database availability.
2018-07-12T15:25:24PDT appdb_utils.py ERROR : CLONEPDB does not exists in DB
2018-07-12T15:25:24PDT appdb_utils.py ERROR : Exiting now......

In addition, the session log file created during the Lift operation psft_lift_session_XXXXXX_1_9999.log lists the following error:

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01276: Cannot add file /u02/xxxxx/data/db_XXX_XXXXXXX/psft-dpk-install8331/psftdb/PSLCD221/XXXXXX/o1_mf_xxxxxx_c4gyo9cn_.dbf. File has an Oracle Managed Files file name.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the lift process on the database

2. Observe the issue as reported
