AM: Hide-Unhide Marks in My Activity On Self-service is Not Working (Doc ID 2434315.1)

Last updated on APRIL 22, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Student Records - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 9.2 version, Student Records Self Service

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

---------------

Hide-Unhide marks in My activity on Self-service is not working.

When I setup the results Dates to show the marks only when they are "result status" = 50-final it won't show the marks in self-service when they are "result status" = 50-final. Only when I check the box "Include Lower Result Status" it will work or when I leave both the "result status" and the "Include Lower Result Status" blank.

STEPS

-----------------------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

As per delivered functionality, Result Status is a valid field for the Student Self Service View:

1. Enter Result Status display for the Result Date ID.

2. A blank Result Status will display all applicable result statuses.

3. Select the checkbox Include Lower Result Status to display the indicated result status and all other result statuses with a lower number. For example, if you select Result Status 10-Calculated and then select this check box, the 07-Imported, 05-Manual, and 00-Undetermined statuses will also be displayed.

When the Results Dates are setup to show the marks, only valid for "result status" = 50-final it won't show the marks in self-service.

Also, When the Result Status is selected to 05-Manual and Include Lower Result Status is selected. Then , it should display the indicated result status and all other result statuses with a lower number. However, this displays the 50-Final result status as well.
