On : 9.2 version, Prospect/Admissions Data Load

Customer is converting all the test score loads over to the new PDL process.  During testing it was noticed that when a test score file contains test scores that had been previously loaded (keys and data values match), the PDL process is updating the existing record's data loaded field (STDNT_TEST_COMP.DATE_LOADED).  This is not what the existing test score load process does.

The PDL documentation (managing_peoplesoft_prospect_admissions_data_load_transactions.pdf) in the 'Setting Up Data Update Rules Entry' section has conflicting information about how test scores will be loaded.  In one place it says 'To be consistent with existing processes that update this data, the data update rules are as follows for the following entities:' meaning that the 2 processes should act the same.  Later when it talks about the specific Test Score entity 'If the following elements on STDNT_TEST_COMP match the elements on the staging record SCC_STG_TESTCMP, update Score, Percentile and Date Loaded regardless of the previous score reported: EMPLID, TEST_ID, TEST_COMP, TEST_DT and DATA_SOURCE.' meaning that will always update the test component regardless of whether any of the data has changed.
