On: PeopleTools: 8.56.07
OS : RHEL 7
PUM 27

After upgrading to PeopleTools 8.56, when opening a file for writing with GetFile() function and specifying UTF8 character set, and then writing to a file, char(172) , extra special characters are being written wherever the string is written to the file.
The extended ASCII character number is 172. (¬) . Additional character is appended like below.

There should be no extra special characters written wherever the string is written to the file.
