Cobol Compiled Using Cscblbld.bat Does Not Run (Doc ID 2436862.1)

Symptoms

After running CSCBLBLD.BAT to compile application cobol, the compile is successful but cobol processes will not run.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Compile cobol using CSCBLBLD.BAT.
  2. Navigate to any component where a batch or on-line cobol is executed.
  3. Press the button to execute the remote call cobol or populate the run control for the batch process and run the process.
  4. Note results displayed on-line (for remote call) or if nothing happens; or review cobol log file in Process Monitor for a batch process.
