Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : CS 9.0 or 9.2 2018-2019 Aid Year Updates for FISAP reporting and FISAP FOR 2019-2020, FAPFSP20, INCORRECTLY REPORTING PERKINS

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When running the latest FISAP, FAPFSP20.SQR, to report for aid year 2018, Perkins is not being correctly reported. Students who finished the year as graduate students, but were undergraduate for part of the year and received perkins as an undergrad, are not being included in any of the categories by income.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
These students should be reported in the appropriate undergraduate category - depending or independent by income

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Award and disburse perkins to student as ugrad in fall term
2. Change student to GRAD career for spring term
3. Run FISAP

WHAT IS WORKING
---------------------------
The same logic has been in place longer for SEOG and is working properly for SEOG

Changes

The newest FISAP is intended to handle the reporting for the 2017-2018 aid year. For the first time in this aid year, Graduate/Professional students were no longer eligible to receive Perkins.
