ELA: Straight Line Amount Is Incorrect After Amendment Entered With Past Transaction Date (Doc ID 2439398.1)

Symptoms

The Straight line amount is incorrect after an amendment was entered with a transaction date that is prior to the accounting date. 

Expected Behavior

Steps
------------

Replication Step:
1. Create lease with start date as 1/1/2018 and end date as 5/31/2020
2. Add an asset
3. Add Base rent of $100 and escalation from 1/1/2019 for $100 and 1/1/2020 for $150
4. Allocate the payments to the asset and Review the asset
5. Activate the lease
6. Run Manage Transaction generator
7. Run Generate straight line schedule.
8. Note the straight line amount is evenly distributed across 29 periods
9. Run Depreciation calculation and Create accounting entry process
10. Run Depreciation close process for year 2018 and period 6
11. Note the straight line schedule status is processed for first 6 periods
12. Make an Amendment with accounting date as 6/1/2018 and transaction date as 4/1/2018
13. Add an Escalation from 4/1/2018 for $50
14. Allocate the payment to the asset
15. Activate the amendment.
16. Run Manage transaction generator
17. Run generate straight line schedule
18. Straight line amount is not properly calculated and distributed across the remaining periods. The amount on the last period is vastly different than the amount on other lines.

Business Impact
--------------------
This issue is affecting month end close process. Business is not able to close the quarter.
