Express Putaway - Storage Location is not Updated after Item ID is Changed (Doc ID 2440825.1)

Symptoms

Express Putaway Issue - Storage Location is not Updated after Item ID is changed with the new Item Default Putaway Location, but the Description is correctly updated.

This is happening if change the Item ID and hit enter or Refresh button again, but also if select the item from Item Search / Item Links icon.

 

Users can easily save the transaction with wrong Storage Location that is not updated.

 

Steps to Reproduce the Issue:

  1. Default Putaway Location
  2. Create Express Putaway for example Item 10011
  3. Clear out the Item ID 10011 and Re-enter a new Item ID 10012

Notice that the Storage Location does not change

If press enter or Refresh button, the Storage Location is not changed as per Item ID 10012 Default Putaway Location, but the Description is correctly updated.

  1. Press on Item Search / Item Links icon

Add the Item code 10012, hit Select check box and notice the Storage Location is not changed to AREA1 - 1  as per Item ID 10012 Default Putaway Location.
