HCM/ELM Learning Links Not Going to ELM As Expected - "Learning could not be found for this evaluation period as learning service was not found" (Doc ID 2441251.1)

Symptoms

On : 9.2 versione

Learning not showing up in Performance or Career Planning

Problem 1:  Within performance documents that include the “Learning” section, a list of recently completed coursework in ELM and/or a link to the ELM system should appear. However, when the user accesses the performance document, they see a message that states

ERROR

Learning could not be found for this evaluation period as learning service was not found


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in and select the Performance Tile:
2. Select an Annual Review document
3. From the right hand side, scroll to the bottom
4. The error message displays
Section 7 - OneLink Learning
5. observe the error
"Learning could not be found for this evaluation period as learning service was not found"


Problem 2

Link goes to a modal popup page  Request Trng Course Select rather than connecting to the ELM database.

STEPS


1. Login as PS with PeopleSoft Admin Role
2.  go to ESS > Career & Succession Planning Tile
    left menu Career Planning - click the drop down
    left menu Manage Career Plan
    Search for an EMPLID
    at the top of the center panel, click the right arrow to advance the Tabs
    click Career Training Plan
    scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Search for Learning link
3. Modal popup page occurs:  Request Trng Course Select
    rather than connecting to the ELM database as expected, e.g.http://servername:port/EMPLOYEE/ELM/c/LM_SS_MANAGER.LM_FIND_LEARNING.GBL/?PAGE=LM_FND_LRN_PG&ACTION=U&ForceSearch=Y
