Balance Discrepancy Between Account Balance In Finance Tile And Total Shown In Customer Accounts (Doc ID 2451367.1)

On all Campus Solution 9.2 environments, a different account balance is displayed on the View Customer Account Inquiry and the Finance Tile for some students.

View Customer Accounts shows a zero balance for the student and the Finance tile shows the student has outstanding debt.

A student account balance should be consistent when viewed using any account inquiry.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Student Financials, View Customer Accounts.
  2. Select the emplid;
  3. Note the overall account balance and the balances for the specific account types;
  4. Sign in to the Student's self service account'
  5. Click on the Finance tile;
  6. Note the account balance displayed and the balances by Semester.
