FISAP Aid Year References Are Inconsistent Within Different Sections of the Report and Between the Menu and Component Definitions Versus the Page Displays; Which Aid Year(s) Pertains to Which Process?
(Doc ID 2452191.1)

Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9 to 9.2 [Release 9]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Which aid year is associated with each FISAP program and corresponding run control page? For any one year of the FISAP there are up to three aid years associated in some form, which can be confusing for users to sort through.
For example, the following potential discrepancies have been noted:
- The year referenced in the technical page definition is different from the year that displays on the page; e.g. SFA_RUNCTL_FISAP25 vs "Report on Eligible Aid Applicants for Award Year 2022-2023".
- The page display just referenced also does not match the menu definition; e.g. 'FISAP Report 2024-2025'.
- On the report itself, for example Part II Section E, the calendar dates mentioned in the 'Application to Participate' sentence don't match the other dates referenced after, which are 2-3 years earlier.
Understanding these different date references is important for the corresponding understanding of the report design and how to properly use and interpret the report based on the the run control submission.
