E-CLOUD: Authentication Failure Encountered During Install of Cloud Manager 7 On OCIC IDCS (Doc ID 2455964.1)

Symptoms

On : 07 version, Cloud Manager Configuration

When trying to install Cloud Manager 7 on OCIC IDCS account, the install process fails with error as follows:

ERROR

On the Cloud manager bootstrap console:


Oracle Cloud Authentication : FAILURE

Cloud Manager IP validation : FAILURE

Default sec-list validation : FAILURE

 

In the  psft_opc_setup.log

cm_opc_request.py DEBUG : CM validation Status: {'cm_opc_public_ip': '', 'cm_opc_saas_validation_msg': 'SUCCESS', 'cm_opc_public_ip_msg': 'FAILURE', 'cm_authentication_msg': 'FAILURE', 'opc_seclist_validation_msg': 'FAILURE'}

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Attempt to install Cloud Manager 7 on OCIC IDCS account
2. Observe the error as reported
