Symptoms

PT 8.56 Portal to content provider on PT 8.55

When clicking on a link form the portal to a content provider the user gets the following error:

 ERROR:

You are not authorized (40,20)

Unencode referrer URL was causing Auth Error and Error Creating Label (for page title) because it was creating a src URL in the (hidden) iFrame with id="ptremotedatagetter" that was escaped, and looked like this:
   https://server.company.com/psc/site/EMPLOYEE/node/ptgetremotedata?d=dev.cu.edu&postFunction=postBackHistoryMessage

When the browser tried to load it, it didn't recognize it as a valid URL, so it appended it to the the current portal URL, and ended up trying to load this:
 https://server.company.com/psc/site/EMPLOYEE/node/c/ https://server.company.com/psc/site/EMPLOYEE/node/ptgetremotedata?d=dev.cu.edu&postFunction=postBackHistoryMessage
