Last updated on JULY 21, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Asset Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to recategorize converted assets (via the transaction loader, AMIF1000) from a depreciable to a non depreciable category with 2 active cost rows, a page inconsistent error is returned.

Please note: If the converted asset is recategorized from a depreciable to a different depreciable category and then recategorized to the non depreciable category, the transaction goes through
without any error. If the converted asset is suspended and then recategorized to a non depreciable category, the transaction goes through without any error

Steps
-----------
This issue can be replicated by performing the following steps:

2) Upload the interface data into the AM Tables via AMIF1000.
3) Recategorize the asset.

Business Impact
-----------------------
