E-LDAP: LDAP Authentication Over SSL Stopped Working After Upgrading the Java Version (Doc ID 2462581.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading the the java version, LDAP authentication stopped working when over SSL. LDAP authentication was working fine before upgrading the java version.

One of the following errors will be displayed in the in APPSRV.log:

Changes

 An upgrade of the Java version (to 1.7 or 1.8) causes the failure over SSL.
